Brief Description

Bonelli Park provides the perfect setting for a Off-Road Triathlon & 3 Mile Trail Run Challenge. The triathlon has a 1/2 mile lake swim, a 15 mile bike and a 3 mile run. The mixture of fire roads and single track trails on the bike and run course keep the event fun and interesting. Not ready for the 15 mile bike? Try the Renegade Recreational Off-Road Triathlon This race has the same great swim and run with a reduced bike (7.5 miles instead of the 15 mile bike in the full).

Race Day Registration

If you missed on-line registration don't worry we have race day registration starting at 6:30 am.

USAT

ALL trathletes will be required to show a USAT annual license or sign up for a 1-day license. To purchase an annual license for $39 you must go to www.usatriathlon.org. A 1-day license can be purchased for $10 durning on-line registration.

Off-Road Triathlon

Bonelli Park is the perfect setting for the Off-Road Triathlon. This 1/2 Mile Swim, 15 Mile (2-loop) Bike and 3 Mile Trail Run is challenging enough for seasoned triathletes yet short enough to entice novices.

Recreational Off-Road Triathlon

The same course as the Renegade Off-Road Triathlon, but with a 7.5 mile (1-loop) bike. This event will be timed but isn ont eligible for division awards.

Vasque 3-Mile Trail Run Challenge

Not ready to commit to the swim and the bike? Try the Vasque 3-Mile Trail Run Challenge. Beginners will love it for the scenic lake and forest views and experienced runners will enjoy the challenging trails. Don't just spectate, participate! Bonelli Park is easy to get to from just about any city in Southern California. Find maps and directions at Renegade Racing.

Kids Duathlon

Bring your multi-sport kids out for this 1/2 mile run, 2 mile bike and 1/2 mile run (All on paved paths). Parents can participate along side if they choose. The kids duathlon starts at 11 am so that parents can race the off road triathlon and still make it back to watch or participate with their kids. All kids get a T-shirt and finisher's medal.

Pre Rides and Runs

Come out on Saturday March 13 or March 27 and preview the bike and run course(s). We'll leave from the south shore parking lot at 9:00 am on the bike and run at 10:30 am. Normal parking fees apply so carpool when possible. Please RSVP to questions@renegaderaceseries.com so we can plan for your arrival.

The Renegade Off-Road Triathlon is part of the USAT Junior Development Series. Jonathan Pauley is a USAT Certified Race Director and is committed to the safety of all participants.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
