Brief Description

Join us for the 2nd Annual Give Your Heart to Monarch 5K Run/Walk, sponsored by San Diego Meeting Professionals International (www.sdmpi.org). This event supports both SDMPI, the not for profit meetings and event industry organization with over 500 members and San Diego’s Monarch School. Monarch School is a not for profit group founded in 1988, committed to providing an accredited education to homeless and at-risk kids while caring for basic needs such as health care, food and clothing.

Fees: Age 18 & up: $25.00 through 12/31; $30.00 after 12/31; $35 onsite
Age 6-17: $15.00 through 12/31; $20.00 after 12/31; $25 onsite
Age 5 and under: Free

Race numbers and goodie bags/t-shirts can be picked up on race day at the De Anza Cove gazebo beginning at 6:30 a.m. Run or walk on a fast and flat course along picturesque Mission Bay. Plenty of parking!

  • Each participant will receive a goodie bag and t-shirt.
  • Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers.
  • Join us for breakfast snacks, music and silent auction after the race.
