Brief Description

Welcome Home Sweetheart is a fun run/walk to honor all our service members and especially those returning from overseas keeping World Peace. This Race is Special for all our returning Military for an Official Welcome Home.

Directions To Texas A&M University

Texas A&M University is located on 410 & Zarzamora in south west San Antonio, Texas. If you are going west on 410 exit # 48 to Zaramora and turn left/south, drive one mile and turn left on University Way, park in the student parking lot on your right . If you are going east on 410 exit on Zarzamora and turn right, drive on mile and turn left and park in the student parking lot on your right.

Official Military Welcome Home

$5.00 off regular price for Military & present Texas A&M students if they register in person - Call me for details Johnny P. 210-385-8248 On 10 February we will host our annual "Welcome Home Sweetheart 5k" at Texas A&M University - San Antonio, Texas. The Run / Walk starts at 9AM in front of the main campus, with race day registration at 7:30am.

The event will have packet pick up from 10a - 3p at Texas A&M University-San Antonio on Friday, Feb 8, 12. Packet pick up from 10a - 3p at Joseph's Bakery 3420 N. St. Mary's on Saturday, Feb 9, 12. We have great Door Prizes for those registered athletes who attend - you must be present to win. One Hotel room for (one night stay downtown S.A.), four $25.00 cash gift cards to Athletes Foot, all from purnellracing.com.. You may register in person: Joseph's Bakery, Athletes Foot, or race day !
