Brief Description

Join the Hispanic Women’s Network of TX for the 2nd Annual 10K & 5K event (no relay this year). This 6.2 or 3.1 miler Begins & Ends at PAVILION #2. For the 10K & 5K, medals awarded to the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers in each of eight age groups. Additionally, a CASH PRIZE will be awarded to the TOP 3 OVERALL Female 10K finishers & TOP 3 OVERALL Male 10K finishers! You can also participate in the 5 K Fun Run or Walk! Refreshments, food and fun for everyone!

Within McAllister Park - Go to Pavilion #2

If entering from Jones-Maltsberger on Money Tree, go past the playground on your left until the street ends (follow the Dog Park sign arrow) and turn left. Immediately past the soccer fields on the right is where the restrooms & Pavilion #2 are located. You'll see the "Start/Finish" towers on the road, too! See you there!

10K Run - for prize option - DETAILS

1) The top 3 Males and the top 3 Females (1st-3rd place) in each of the eight (8) age categories will receive a medal. 2) The top 3 OVERALL Males and the top 3 OVERALL Females who finish the 10K will receive a cash prize detailed below: 1st Place = $100, 2nd Place = $50, 3rd Place = $25. This is only for the 10K Run for prize option. Good Luck!

5K Run - for prize option - DETAILS

The top 3 Males and the top 3 Females (1st-3rd place) in each of eight (8) age categories will receive a medal. Good Luck!

PACKET PICK-UP #1 is on FRIDAY, Feb. 26 from 9am to 6pm at the Citibank branch located on the NE Corner of 281 and 1604 near Best Buy. Pick-Up #2 on SATURDAY, Feb. 27 from 10am - 2pm at The Athlete's Foot: 923 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, TX 78232 (just West of 281 and WalMart) (210) 403-2413 - $25 Registration available at The Athlete's Foot - credit cards accepted. RACE DAY Packet Pick-Up is from 6:45am until 7:30am. Age categories for the 10K & 5K Run (for prize) are: 1-19, 20-26, 27-33, 34-40, 41-47, 48-54, 55-61, 62-99. ONLINE registration closes at midnight 2-14-09; Mail-In Entry o.k. with Postmark No Later Than 2-13-09 or PLEASE WAIT UNTIL Packet-Up or Race Day to register. Cash Prize amounts for Top 3 Female 10K finishers and Top 3 Male 10K finishers will be: 1st Place-$100, 2nd Place-$50, 3rd Place-$25. Total of six cash prizes as described.
