Brief Description

This 31th Annual event is held to Honor Our Combat Medic Soldiers. It will take place at the main Parade Field Reviewing Stands with the race starting/finishing on Worth Street. Awards in 14 age groups in the 10k races only, first 200 walkers will receive a ribbon. Award to the best 28-Soldier Formation 5k run, top three m/f to finish the 5k. Fastest: 5- person Guidon Team to finish the 10k will receive an award (team must finish together).

Directions

Your only requirement to enter Fort Sam Houston is you must process thru security at any gate with a photo ID (drivers license). Harry Wurzbach will bring you to the start of this years race @ Stanley Road. Or you may exit IH 35 on Walters road drive west on Scott , turn left on Schofield, turn right on Stanley and find a place to park - the race will start at Stanley & Worth streets @ 7:30am..

Additional Information

Packet pick up and late registration all day Thursday from 10am until 5 pm at the Jimmy Brought Fitness Center 320 Wilson Road. Military fee on Thursday (in person) $15.00. only. Packet pick up Friday from 10a-3p at Joseph's Bakery, 3420 N.St. Mary's for all others. NON-Competitive Athletes may register for only $25. (in person), but will not be timed, have a fun run.
