Brief Description

Help wildlife! The Utah Chapter American Association of Zoo Keepers and Utah's Hogle Zoo are proud to present our third 5k fundraiser for Wild Aware Utah and Wildlife SOS India. Sports Am L.L.C. will be timing the event. AAZK is an organization of zoo keepers and volunteers dedicated to professional development and conservation projects. Along with the 5k will be a Kids Dash for ages twelve and under. Registration and Check-in starts at 7 AM. Kids Dash starts at 8:30 AM. 5k starts at 9:30 AM.

Additional Information

100% of funds raised will benefit Wild Aware Utah a wildlife awareness and safety program and Wildlife SOS India. OUR APOLOGIES: AS OF 9/24 THERE ARE NO MORE T SHIRTS AVAILABLE! BUT ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE 5K WILL GET A ZOO DAY PASS for 2 adults. There will be awards for all 5k age categories, refreshments and visits with live zoo animal ambassadors. Join us at Utah’s Hogle Zoo where the fun and scenic 5k course begins at the Zoo’s east parking area, wraps up around Wasatch Boulevard and Michigan Ave, and then returns back to the Zoo. Strollers and wagons are welcome but please leave pets, rollerblades, heelies and skateboards at home. 1 adult (maximum) can accompany children on the Kids Dash for no additional fee.
