Hosted by Sylvan Street Grille and organized by The Winner’s Circle Running Club, Cassidy’s 5K is primed to be one of the premier 5Ks on the North Shore in 2013. This race/walk is a fundraiser for Cassidy Nicholas and her family. All race proceeds and donations go directly to the Nicholas family. Custom Race T-shirts to the first 500 registered Awards to top 3 overall male and female and m&f age group winners Post race raffle and other fun stuff

The 5K course is a flat and fast out-and-back. The race (and walk) starts on Old Elm Street and quickly picks up the Salisbury Point Ghost Trail, which is a groomed, packed gravel trail that runs through the woods parallel to Rte 110. At 1 mile, the course veers off the trail and runs through the quiet neighborhoods of Palis Drive, Baker Rd. and Vic Lin Drive. The cul-de-sac on Vic Lin Dr. is the halfway and turn-around point. Runners double back and pick up the trail at the same point where they exited on the way out.
