Early Bird Fees

Adults 10K is $30; Youth (14-17 yrs.) 10K is $20; Adults 5K is $30; Youth (10-17 yrs.) 5K is $20 until 8/16/2012

Late and Race Day Registration

Adults 10K is $35; Youth (14-17 yrs.) 10K is $25; Adults 5K is $35; Youth (10-17 yrs.) 5K is $25 as of 8/16/2012

Check-In and Race Day Registration

Check-In starts at 7:00 AM and Race Day Registration starts at 7:00 AM. Both will end at 8:15 AM

Where Will Your Money Go?

Rancho Cielo is a 100-acre ranch in the foothills of Salinas, with an educational component, vocational training, and recreation for at-risk youth and first-time youth offenders giving them an opportunity to redirect their lives. Although our first students arrived on campus in 2004, the program has already demonstrated success, as measured by a 73% recidivism reduction rate. All proceeds will go directly to Rancho Cielo. Course

NEW COURSE: The 3.1 mile course will be on our spectacular Rancho Cielo Campus and is a cross-country, hilly course which overlooks the beautiful Salinas Valley. This is an up-hill course for the first 1.8 miles then heads down the hill, around the lake and into the pastures down to the finish. The 5K course is recommended for ages 10 & up. The 10K course will loop around twice and is recommended for ages 14 & up.

Awards

10K and 5K Race - Top overall male and female receive $100.00 cash. Custom made Medals three deep in each age group; 5K age groups: 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ 10K age groups: 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ Largest Team Award (school, business, family) 5K ONLY

Activities Following the Race

Rancho Cielo Family Play Day & Picnic Free to the public! Activities Include: Fishing Contest, Gardening Activity, Cake Walk & Bake Sale, Basketball Shooting Contest, Cross Country Mountain Bike Ride at Noon, Competitive Tug O War and Hike. Music – throughout the Ranch, Gourmet BBQ $12, Kid's BBQ $5 Children’s Games: Hula Hoop Contest, Egg Toss, Gunny Sack Race., Face Painting, Balloon Artistry

Onsite parking is available.

Team Captain Registration

To create and join a team, team captains need to click the BLUE "Create your Team" button at the top, middle of the page. Then return to this page and click the "Register Now" button. Choose your category. At the top of the registration form, choose your team name from the drop down and finish registering. Be sure to let your team members know you have created the team so they can join as members too!

Team Member Registration

To join your team click on the "Register Now" button and choose your category. Then select your team name from the drop down box on the registration form and continue through registration and pay.

Individual Registration

If you simply want to sign up for the race, click the Register Now button near the top, right of the page, choose your category. BYPASS team name drop down and continue through registration form.
