Brief Description

Colorectal Cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in Maryland. Talk to your doctor about receiving a colonoscopy at age 50, or sooner with a family history. GO BLUE for colon cancer! (Prizes for best dressed)

Race day registration - $35. Same day registrations begins at 8am on March 23, 2013 at Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum

Directions to race

From North: Take Rt 4 South. Go approx. 3 miles south past Pr. Frederick. Turn right on Rt. 264 (Broomes Island Rd) & follow for 2 miles. Turn left on Rt. 265 (Mackall Rd) & continue for 6 miles. Turn right into park. From South: Take Rt 4 North. Pass Flag Ponds Nature Park & go approx. 1.5 miles then take a left onto Parran Rd (You will have to cross Rt 4 South). Follow Parran Rd. for 1.8 miles then turn left onto Rt. 265 (Mackall Rd), follow for 3 miles. Turn right into park.

General Information

The race course is paved. Family friendly event, stroller friendly,and pet friendly (pets must be on a leash)

Additional Information

Awards will be given to the overall male and female finisher and top 3 male and female finishers in each age group. Prizes will be given for: Best "Blue" Team Theme, Best "Blue" Individual Theme, and First Person to Register.
