Brief Description

New for 2010! Now you can RUN at the Princess Promenade! In addition to our cycling events, we are adding a 5k fun run for beginners and veteran runners alike. Proceeds of the run support Girls On The Run, which educates and prepares preteen girls for a lifetime of self respect and healthy living.

Tiara Rock & Run 5k at the Princess Promenade

We celebrate women's fitness whether you run, cycle or both! Runners will line the royal red carpet as the Princess Challenge riders depart at 8:00AM, then the runners take off in the opposite direction toward Old Sacramento and back to the finish. This is a fun, non-timed 5k course with beautiful views of the American and Sacramento Rivers. Proceeds benefit Girls on the Run Greater Sacramento.

Run 5k & Ride 26 Special

For the duathletes out there, check your bike at the Bike Valet and set up your clothes in the changing tent. Run the 5k at 8:10AM, then hop on your bike for the Lady Di 26 miler that departs at 9:00AM. Registration fee includes a donation to Girls on the Run mentoring program.

Additional Information

Take the Run & Ride challenge! Run the 5k, then get on your bike and ride the Princess Grace 15 or Lady Di 26 mile route. Bike Valet service and changing booth will be available at the Princess Fitness Festival.
