Brief Description

Be a part of this year's Run to Break The Silence on Ovarian Cancer (formerly Race For Her) and help raise money for ovarian cancer research and education programs. The Saturday evening 5km run/walk features a flat and fast certified course, a post-race BBQ, and kids' fun runs and activities. The 5 km (3.1-miles) event is part of the 2010 Buzz Oates Run Sac Race Series. Enter today!

Additional Information

More than 25,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer annually. Currently, there is no early detection test, so most women are not diagnosed until the disease is in an advanced stage. The Sacramento Chapter of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition is committed to educating women and their families about this disease and to raise much needed funds for research. We all have special women in our lives, whether it be a mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt, cousin or friend. Come out and Run to Break the Silence!
