Awards:
The first 350 entrants will receive a dry fit 5K for Clay runners shirt. Medallions are awarded to the top overall male/female as well as male/female 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each age division.
The awards presentation will begin approximately 45 minutes after the start of the race. The course will remain open even though the awards presentation has begun.
Parking:
Limited event parking will be located on site at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center. Additional parking will be available at the Shops of Turtle Creek located one block south from the Recreation center. We ask everyone attending the event to always be mindful of safety; use sidewalks and cross walks and be aware of runners/walkers on course.
Packet Pickup and Chip Timing:
Early Packet Pick up is at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center on August 12 from from Noon to 9 p.m. Participants may also pick up race packets on site on event day.
5K for Clay is a chip timed event. Chip timing for the 2011 event will be provided by Cadence Sports. Participants will pick up their chip prior to the race between 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. on August 13. If you do not wear a chip, you will not be timed and will not be included in any results. All chips must be surrendered at the finish line.
