Brief Description

There are 3 events: 5K starts at 7:30 AM; 10K at 8:30; Fun Run at 8:35. AGAIN THIS YEAR - ELECTRONIC CHIP TIMING!!! NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION but you can pick up you race packet(inluding bibb) on race day morning. Packet pickup and walk-up registration available 4/18 & 4/19 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at Riverside Park, Roswell QUALITY TECHNICAL T-SHIRT guaranteed to all who register prior to 4/15 Plan to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the start of your event Carpool if possible

WIN an APPLE iPad mini!!!

All registered 5K, 10K and Fun Run runners will be included in a drawing for an iPad mini. One mini will be awarded to a 5K runnner & one mini will be awarded to a 10K or Fun Runner. Winners will be announced during award ceremony.

Enjoy a scenic run/walk along the Chattahoochee River as you join your fellow runners & walkers in the 12th Annual Choate Construction Run the River 5K/10K. Proceeds will be used to continue HomeStretch's mission of providing housing, hope, and life skills to homeless families. This fast, flat, USATF certified course(5K & 10K) is a great opportunity to PR or to just enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Chattahoochee River. Awards for overall and masters M/F winners, plus 16 age categories, Fun Run participants also receive trophies. Plus enjoy a fun-filled post race party of music provided by 97.1 The River, food, prizes, and MEE MEE the Clown. This is a family, children, pet friendly event. Baby strollers are welcome as are walkers. Roswell is located less than 30 minutes north of Atlanta, Georgia. Come and "RUN THE RIVER" - -you'll enjoy it!!!.
