Awards

Distinctive race-logoed drink mug awards for top-3 finishers in each 10-year age division, male and female, in 5k, 10k, and 13.1-mile events. Special awards for the fastest kids too!

Course Aid

On course aid: cold water, Zico Natural Coconut water and Hammer Gel. Several potties as described. First Aid, SAG rides, and mobile EMS on patrol.

  • 5k aid: Mile 1 (potty) and Mile 2.4 (potty)
  • 10k aid: Mile 1, 2, 2.7 (potty), 3.5, 5.5
  • 13.1 aid: Mile 1.5 (potty), 2.5, 3.2, 4.4, 5.7, 6.9 (potty), 7.2, 9.3, 9.7, 10.5, 12.4

About the Kids 1-mile Run

Entry is FREE - register race day only at event venue at Whole Foods Market. Recommended ages 10&under. Adults and older kids may accompany youngsters. All finishers receive a distinctive Running School Fun Run finisher medal. Special prizes for the fastest runners!

Kids Entertainment at Finish Line

Throughout the morning, kids can enjoy free rock climbing sessions with Mobile Rock, the incredible Spider Maze, as well as trips through the challenging Mobile Rock deluxe inflatable obstacle course and fun bounce house. There will also be live performers and assorted fitness challenges in the Whole Foods parking lot.

About Running School

Today's kids suffer from insufficient activity and poor dietary habits that have become a serious public health problem. Running School, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cardiovascular fitness with nearly 5,000 children at local partner elementary schools. Proceeds from the Family Fun Run support the year-round effort to get kids enjoying outdoor exercise and the pursuit of individual fitness goals!
