Brief Description

The Miner’s Ravine Fun Run was created to bring a premier running event to the Roseville community. Every year we aim to provide an extremely fun, competitive, and entertaining event that runners of ALL abilities will be motivated and inspired to participate in. The Miner's Ravine bike path is a runners paradise and provides one of the most scenic run courses you will find in the Sacramento area. Visit Event Website at: http://www.minersravine.com

5K & 10K

For runners and walkers of all abilities through the beautiful Miner’s Ravine.

KID'S RUN

1 mile out and back race down Miner's Ravine bike trail. Parents are welcome to accompany the child throughout the run. All runners will get a medal. For ages 6-11.

Teams To Support Someone Affected By Autism

Form a team to show a certain person that they're supported and that you're fighting for them. Teams get discounted race fees and are encouraged to celebrate their honoree w/ t-shirts, signs, pictures, etc. Team honorees will be aknowledged w/ unique awards following the race! Teams are non-competitive, but runners will be included in race results. Members can race any of the 3 races, and don't all have to race the same race. Team Rates: 7-10: $200; 11-15: $300; 16-20: $400; 21-30: $500

$5 CHILDCARE

Bring the whole family as there will be childcare available all morning! Childcare volunteers will entertain your little ones with crafts, games, and bouce houses while you enjoy your run!

WALK-IN REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK UP

You may register and/or pick up your race packet from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Sep. 16 and 17, at Fleet Feet Sports (Douglass Blvd. in TJ Max shopping center), or on race morning from 7 a.m. - 8:30 a.m..

AMENITIES

T-shirt, refreshments, live music, awards, and raffle prizes.

COURSE

Rolling couse winding through the beautiful Miner’s Ravine.
Baby joggers allowed. No roller blades or roller skates, animals, and headphones allowed.

AWARDS

Top 3 overall male/female runners in the 5K and 10K races will receive unique Miner’s Ravine trophies, while medals will be given to the top three finishers in each age division.
All participants in the kids run will receive finisher medals.

From Hwy. 80 east or west take the Eureka Ave. exit. Turn right onto Eureka Ave. and travel approximately 1/2 mile to North Sunrise Blvd. Turn left on North Sunrise, then the first left into UA Theater and Chicago Fire parking area. Race venue and parking is located within United Artists Olympus Pointe Theater parking lot.

We are very excited to be working again with our beneficiary, U.C. Davis' MIND Institute. The MIND Institute is a collaborative international research center, committed to the awareness, understanding, prevention, care, and cure of neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism. Working with such a worthy cause as the fight against autism, drives us to make this year's event our best yet!

NOW FREE!!!! Thurs., Sep. 15, 6-8pm, Legends Bar & Grill, 5880 Woodcreek Oaks Blvd., Roseville. Join us for a night w/ local running legend Rich Hanna! Listen to Rich share his running experiences while enjoying some wine and delicious appetizers. There will also be a raffle of over $2000 in exciting items, including $750 in Fleet Feet gift cards, and a new Trek Classic cruiser bike! Raffle tickets will be sold at the event. Help us raise the funds needed to join the fight against Autism!

Rich Hanna

Rich is a veteran of 75+ marathons and ultra marathons, with a personal marathon best of 2:17. He is a 2-time National 100k champion and silver medalist in the 2001 World 100k Championship. Rich owns and operates Capital Road Race Mgmt., Sac’s premier race managment company. For 15 years, Rich has coached 4,000+ full and ½ marathoners for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program and now shares his running/training knowledge through the running group Harey Tortuga Fitness.

ZUMBA 4 AUTISM SPECIAL CLASS
