Event Information

The MVP Health Care Rochester Marathon offers a Full Marathon, Half Marathon and Marathon Relay, making it a race for every kind of runner. It is a Boston Marathon qualifier. The Marathon and Half-Marathon Courses are USATF certified. Runners will pass through the City of Rochester before turning onto the historic Erie Canal Path. The canal will take them back into the City of Rochester, ending in a festival atmosphere with live music in front of Frontier Field.

Closing Date

Online Registration Closes on 9/20/12. Mail-in or walk-in registrations will be accepted until 9/22/12. NO REGISTRATION on Race Day, Sunday, 9/23/12.

MVP Health Care Rochester Marathon is entering its 7th year and has been described as one of the best small Marathons in the country. All proceeds benefit the Arthritis Foundation. Entry fees are non-refundable (you may not give or sell your race number to anyone else!). You may transfer your 2012 entry fee to the 2013 Rochester Marathon for a transfer fee of $10.00; this request must be made by 9/14/12. You have the option of switching between events for a change fee of $10.00; this request must be made by 9/14/12. If you choose our early departure option, there will be a $5.00 processing fee and you must fill out a disclaimer form. All of these requests must be made in writing and made by 9/14/12.
