Brief Description

With the increase in health and wellness programs, people are being encouraged to live healthier lifestyles. However for many, this can be an intimidating endeavor. Many larger people do not feel comfortable signing up for events due to the speed and agility of our smaller, agile brethren. That’s where this event comes in. The 1st Annual Cly-Thena 5K run/walk and duathlon. This will be a premier event catering to just the larger population without fear of intimidation or failure.

Additional Information

The duathlon will consist of a 2 mile run followed by a 10.5 mile bike, concluding with a 1.1 mile run to the finish.

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States.
