Brief Description

A 5K Run/Walk on Veterans Day benefiting THE FREEMAN PROJECT

The Freeman Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to honor the memory of Marine Captain Matthew Freeman (Richmond Hill) killed August 2009 while serving his country in Afghanistan. The organization is dedicated to collecting school supplies and shipping them to our military units in Afghanistan and other war-torn counties for distribution by our military personnel directly to the children themselves.

ATTENTION REGISTRANTS

Please also join us for the Rock-N-Roll Savannah Marathon the week prior. We will be running as Team Freeman. There will also be a booth at the event where you can sign up for the RUN FOR PEACE 11/11/11.

Packet Pick-up and Late Registration

Race packets with T-shirts can be picked up Nov 9th (1 pm - 5 pm) and Nov 10th (1 pm - 8 pm) at 10393 Ford Avenue Bldg C Suite 10, Richmond Hill, GA 912-658-5937. We will accept registration and payments at the Ford Avenue location only on race packet pickup days.
Late Registration - Day of race 7:00 am - 9:00 am at JFGregory Park

Awards

Male and female awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers, overall and masters level (age 50 and older). Age level awards.

DOGS and STROLLERS ALLOWED

Dogs on leash and strollers are welcome but must start after the runners begin. Please clean up after your pet.
