Grab a buddy and form your own Muck Squad for Reno River Festival's 2nd Annual Run Amuck Fun Run.
The race will start and finish in the middle of the festival. You'll be going from Wingfield Park to Idlewild Park, where you'll get to "low crawl" through a 60' mud pit and continue on through other surprise obstacles throughout the 2.5-mile course. It's a two-person relay so you and your most foolish friend each get to take a lap. And before you hit the showers, we're giving away awards and prizes ranging from fastest competitors to best costume.
Last year’s event was the highlight of the festival, as thousands of onlookers witnessed a swarm of astronauts, geishas, bumble bees, cows, pirates and brides taking over the streets of downtown Reno. The course took them over hay bales, down muddy slides and through water gun snipers — a spectacle that culminated most appropriately in a formidable bout of hop scotch at the finish line.
