Brief Description

It’s a 5k with an egg hunt built in! Participants will find different colored eggs scattered all over the course and each color will either help or hurt your time. We do not reveal what each color means until after the race! If you think you are fast, run straight through without picking up any eggs. Otherwise, try your luck at getting the best time by collecting up to 10 eggs! We will award prizes for the overall fastest and

Race Day Details 7:00am-7:45am Onsite registration 8:30am Race Starts Post-race scrambled egg brunch at Redmond’s Bar and Grill, 7979 Leary Way NE, Redmond 98052 Packet Pick-up Early Packet pick-up: 3/27-3/29 Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, 16600 NE 80th St, Redmond 98052 Onsite packet pick-up 7:00am-7:45am. Packets will include technical t-shirt, timing chip, and goodies from participating vendors. Awards One pair of running shoes awarded to top (no help from eggs) overall male/female Prizes awarded to fastest time (with or without help of eggs) for 1st place male and female in each age group. Age Groups Ages 15 years and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older. Course Description The race starts and finishes at Redmond City Hall on the Sammamish River trail. Runners will head SE along the trail with a turnaround at the art installation behind Bear Creek Parkway and 170th Ave NE. Course will be marked and volunteers will direct runners. There will be one aid station on the course. Course support and chip timing will be 8:00am-9:00am. Wheelchairs and baby joggers are allowed. Please park in the City of Redmond Parking Garage, 8703 160th Avenue NE. Posted signs will direct you to parking locations as well as the start/finish line. Entry Deadlines Online deadline is 3/28/13 at midnight Onsite registration closes 3/30/13 7:45am
