Brief Description

For 2011, St. Patty's Run Green moves to Saturday afternoon with a great post-race block-party hosted by Tir na nOg Irish Pub continuing until 10 pm.

The St. Patty's Run Green 8K benefit the National MS Society and the nOg Run Club.
Sponsored by Tir na nOg and Fleet Feet Sports Raleigh.

PACKET PICKUP

Advanced packet pickup wil be held: Thursday 4-7 at Fleet Feet Sports Raleigh (Ridgewood Shopping Center Friday 3-7 at Tir na nOg Irish Pub on Blount Street in downtown Raleigh.

The St. Patty's Run Green 8K is an earth-friendly St. Patty's celebration. Run Green was the first sustainable "Race Without a Trace" in Raleigh.

Race t-shirts and pint glasses are no longer available.

You don't have to win to WIN! Every 100th finisher gets a pair of running shoes from Brooks and Fleet Feet Sports Raleigh. Randomly selected runners will win a variety of prizes including Drymax socks and Larry's Beans coffee. Check the website for more prizes, too.

Enjoy race contests sponsored by the nOg Run Club: Fastest kilt runners, best St. Patty's theme costumes, and other crazy-fun contest themes!

After-Party! Start your St. Patty's celebration with a great post-race party with live music hosted by Tir na nOg. A special post-race dinner menu will be avaialble during the party.

Register for the 8K race by Feb 28 and receive a race t-shirt.

The first 1,7500 registered 8K runners receive a St. Patty's Run Green pint glass - and the first beer is included (age 21+)! Pint glasses are no longer available.

You don't have to win to win! Brooks Sports and Fleet Feet Sports Raleigh will give a free pair of Brooks running shoes to every 100th 8K finisher!

  • Convenient parking close to the race start/finish at Moore Square
