This is a new race using an old course. The course being used is the same one that was utilized for the Dalmatian Dash a few years ago.
The course is run through the Brier Creek Country Club For a copy of the course map, go to http://www.usatf.org/events/courses/search and type in NC04082PH when it asks for Course Number. The race is being held to raise money in support of the USO at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
The entry fee is $25 ($30 after October 31.) the entry fee includes a long-sleeved t-shirt.
Awards will be presented to the first three males overall, to the first three females overall, and to the first three finishers in each of the following age divisions: (both sexes) 19-under, 20-92, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60-over.
There also will be team competition for Law Enforcement agencies. Awards will be given to the three fastest 3-person teams.
