Brief Description

This 5K event is a fundraiser for Casen Buswell and Ty Quandt. Casen, son of Jenna and CJ Buswell, was born in February with a rare vascular disorder called GMV-Plaque Type. Ty Quandt, is 15 years old and has a rare and fatal disease called Niemann-Pick type C (NPC). This 5K will raise funds for Casen's medical fund and the National Niemann-Pick Disease Foundation.

Additional Information

This is not a chip timed event. We will have a clock at the Start/Finish line, and people along the course who can give you your times. Times will not be posted. You will need to keep track of your own time. Water and food will be offered to all runners and walkers after their event. A raffle will be held during the event starting at 10:00 am. T-shirts: All registrants will receive a t-shirt if registered by August 21st, 2012. Any registrants after August 21st will not receive a t-shirt. Registration Dates : You may register online until midnight August 24th. You will be able to register on the day of the event at Bradley Lake Park between 7:30 am – 8:30am. Day of event will be cash or checks only. Online registrants up to August 21st will receive a t-shirt. Run/Walk safety rules: The entire route is accessible to both strollers and wheelchairs. Additionally, safety monitors are available to provide assistance. Parking: The park has two parking lots with 147 parking spots. There are 42 spaces along 31st Ave. S.E. and the Wal-Mart parking lot across from Bradley Lake will allow parking for this 5K event.
