Brief Description

This is an off-road/trail/no pavement course. There are both intense up & downhills, rocky terrain, and beautiful views. It may seem a little out of most people's normal race idea at first, but once one gets on any of the Cascadia courses, they fall in love with trail running. It is definitely an adventure on both the mind and the body, but completely worth it in every way!

Additional Information

Divisions for each gender are as follows unless the amount of runners calls for more breakdown: Top 3 Overall, 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Above. Awards in each gender are as follows: 1st Overall receives a pair of Brooks Cascadia trail shoes. 2nd Overall receives a $20 gift certificate to the local specialty running store, Runner's Corner. 3rd Overall receives a pair of Smartwool trail running socks. Ribbons are awarded to the top 3 in each division. There is a raffle for many prizes & gift certificates from local sponsors including Tomasso's Italian Ice, Runner's Corner, KT Tape, etc. Running specialty brands sponsored in the drawing are Nathan Sports water packs, & two pairs of Brooks Cascadia trail shoes.
