Brief Description

This "equalizer" race will bring something new to Kansas City area races. Women get a 2-MINUTE HEADSTART while the men must patiently wait for their turn. It's anyone's race, as the women run away and the men try to close the gap. The course is out and back through scenic, residential neighborhoods. This is an equalizer race -- we will offer prizes to the top-50 overall finishers (women and men), including running gear and gift certificates. The first 150 registrants receive a t-shirt.

Additional Information

Kid's Fun Run There will be a half-mile fun run for kids at 9:00 a.m. All participants will receive a medal. After the race, you are invited to enjoy Springfest at Homestead Country Club from noon-5:00 p.m. There will be music, games, and plenty of food and beverages from the club and the sponsors!
