Founded in January of 2012 on a wing and a prayer (and a lot of faith) the Cause and Event Foundation is launching a nationwide race series, the first of which is right here in Portland on November 11, 2012.
Cause and Event Portland is unlike any other race series of its kind. The runner (or walker) will choose which Guidestar registered 501-c-3 nonprofit will receive a $5 donation from the racer's registration.
We have three events to choose from: a 5K walk, 5K run and a 10K run. The race is sanctioned and insured by the USATF. Team registration is open so grab five or more of your closest friends and register to race and raise money for your favorite cause! $30 per team runner, $45 per individual runner, prices increase October 15.
