Brief Description

Our goal is to raise awareness for Aplastic Anemia, Paroxsymal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) and Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS). All proceeds to benefit the Aplastic Anemia and MDS Foundation. This race was founded in honor of Dr. Thomas Gates who passed away in 2008 of complications due to Aplastic Anemia, PNH and MDS. Directions

From the West: Take exit 256B, continue onto Victory Blvd into Poquoson. Victory becomes Little Florida Rd. Turn left onto Odd Road. PHS on is the right.

From the East: Take exit 262B to Magruder Blvd. Turn right at Commander Shepherd Blvd. Turn left onto Wythe Creek. Turn right onto Little Florida Rd. Turn left onto Odd Road. PHS is on the right.

Additional Information

Awards, prizes and refreshments following the race. T-shirts will be available to the first 100 registrants. The race will take place on the streets of Poquoson and the Poquoson Police Department will be maintaining traffic flow. The Peninsula Track Club will be providing race day and finish line support.
