Brief Description

ONLINE REGISTRATIONS IS NOW CLOSED. REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE ON RACE DAY - SUNDAY, APRIL 14TH FROM 7-7:45 AM. Join us for the 31st Annual Strawberry Strut in beautiful Ponchatoula! Whether you sign up for the 1 mile fun run or 10K, you are sure to have a good time! Located within walking distance of the Strawberry Festival grounds. Runners should head to the North Stage (corner of West Willow St & North 7th St. ) for awards after the race (approx 10:30 am).

PACKET PICK-UP: Will take place from 7 - 7:45am on race day. STARTING INSTRUCTIONS: The 1-mile fun run will begin at 8:00 am. The 10k will begin at 8:30 am. Both races will begin at the Ponchatoula Jaycee Park at the corner of West Willow St. and Beechwood Dr. SPLITS/FLUID STATIONS: Mile markers will be posted every mile. Fluid stations will be at 2, 4 & 5 mile points. T-SHIRTS: Specially designed T-shirts will be given to each pre-registered runner (guaranteed if registered before March 29, 2013). Runners who register on the day of the race will receive T-shirts while supplies last. AWARDS will be given as follows: A. Overall male and female (1 mile fun run and 10k) B. 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers in each of the following age groups (male and female) 1. 1 mile fun run: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. 2. 10k: 17 and under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. AWARDS PRESENTATION: Main stage on the Strawberry Festival grounds at approximately 10:30 am. REFRESHMENTS: Fresh fruits, Healthy Snacks, water and soft drinks will be available to all racers.
