Brief Description

The Christmas 5K Run/Walk in Pleasanton California is Flat and Fast. Join us December 23rd, 2012 for the first Double Road Race to be held in the United States. Race participants will run two road races (10k + 5k) on the same day. The Double was created by Bob Anderson, the founder of Runner’s World Magazine and publisher for 18 years. Special Guests: Come talk and run with four-time Boston and New York Marathon winner Bill Rodgers.

Additional Information

After 4pm Saturday, December 22, 2012 prices will be $20 (Kids), $40 (Christmas 5K) and $60 (Double Road Race). Race day registration MAY be available on Sunday December 23 for the Christmas 5K and Kids 1 Mile, if space is available. 5k Awards: These are prizes for runners who only run the 5k. Special medal for top three male and female runners, and top three age-group winners 19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 plus. Benefiting Run For Kids Pleasanton and Just Run! Medals and T-Shirts!
