The Summer Family 5K race is held at RecPlex, the Largest Municipal Recreation Facility in America. RecPlex, is located on the shores of Lake Andrea in Prairie Springs Park in Pleasant Prairie. Pleasant Prairie is located in southeastern Wisconsin between Milwaukee and Chicago. The 5K run starts and finishes in the picturesque setting of Prairie Springs Park, a 425-acre park along the shores of Lake Andrea, a sparkling 100-acre spring fed lake.

T-shirt and packet pick-up will be available in the Fitness Center the Wednesday & Thursday prior to race day and race day morning at the Beach Pavilion from 8:00am to 8:45am.
Please park in the parking lot south of the Beach Pavilion.
Overall male/female finishers. Individual awards for top 3 male/female finishers in each age group. All registered participants are eligible for raffle prizes. The raffle drawing will take place immediately following the race. You must be present to win.
Training is geared towards new runners who want to run a 5K successfully. The key is in the recipe that includes a perfect blend of easy running days, long endurance runs, cross-training and rest. Fee: $89/$99. Class fee includes entry into the 5K race! Saturdays, 9-10am, May 25 thru July 13, plus July 20 race. http://recplexonline.com/fitness-wellness/run-training.
This is a timed event. Results will be posted and available within 24 hours on the RecPlex website www.recplexonline.com.
Volunteers are needed to make this and future events a success.
