Brief Description

Walk or run along the city street of Vista Del Mar, to finish in the beach parking lot. The course is considered fast for a great personal record (PR).

Welcome

Welcome to the 3rd annual Coastal Challenge 5K/10K Walk and Run. The event will happen Rain or Shine! We will have some of LA's best food trucks at our expo, 7 am to noon, as well as Jack fm and free food samples and activities. All kiddie-k participants will earn a race ribbon. Also, we will have free arts and crafts activities in the expo for the kids.

Prizes

The top three female and male finishers in each age category will receive a medal.

1. Fastest of age group, 1st, 2nd & 3rd. (Men's and women's)
2. Fastest 5K Team
3. Fastest 10K Team
4. Largest team
5. Most spirited team
6. All Kiddie K participants

Team Challenge

Enter a team with as many runner's or walker's as you can recruit. The 1st 5 to cross the finish line are scored for your team. Also, a prize to the team with the most participants.

Team Captains

Please click the yellow "Create your Team" button and create your team. Once your team has been created please return to this page and click on the green "Register Now" button and register for your team.

Team Members

Click on the "Register Now" button, choose the Team Member category then choose the Team Name from the drop down menu on the registration form. If you do not see your team name in the drop down, please contact your Team Captain.

Individuals

If you are not joining a team, choose the "Individuals not joining a team" then choose the individual category that best fits you, register and pay.

Packet Pick Up & Late Reg - Jan 25th & Race Day

Pick up your race bib and shirt or register on Saturday, January 19th, 11 am to 3pm at Lululemon - El Segundo. (2008 E. Park Place, suite A) or on Friday, January 27th at CALIFORNIA BANK & TRUST, Santa Monica Branch, 100 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90401 from noon to 6 pm OR register and pick up your packet on RACE MORNING at Dockweiler State Beach, Playa del Rey, from 6:30 am to the start of your run.

Parking and directions

From the #405 freeway, take the #105 Century West to Imperial Highway. (the #105 merges onto the Imperial Hwy) Follow Imperial Hwy. Follow Imperial Hwy West to the end at the ocean. Cross over Vista del Mar to race parking. Parking passes are available for pre-purchase in the online registration form and can be picked up with your bib at Packet Pickup.
