$30 for adults, $15 for kids ages 15 and under, add $5 one week before the race and race day

Brief Description

As part of an ongoing commitment to end world hunger and poverty, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®, Chi Zeta Omega Chapter is partnering with Pearls of Service, Incorporated and Heifer International ® to present the Chi Zeta Omega 5K Fun Run & Walk. The event will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011, 8:00 am, at Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve in Plano, TX.

Awards

Awards will be given to the fastest male and female overall as well as age group awards. Medals will go three deep in the following age categories: 1-12, 13-19, 20-29. 30-39. 40-49. 50-59, and 60+ Depending on registration numbers, more children's categories may be added. All participants will be eligible for door prizes!!

Packet Pick Up

Thursday, October 27th from 5 - 8 pm at Total Nutrition 8240 Preston Rd, Plano, TX 75024

Additional Information

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®, Chi Zeta Omega Chapter, and Pearls of Service, Incorporated will be raising funds to be donated to Heifer International ®, an organization which seeks to end world hunger by teaching sustainability, and self-reliance principles. Heifer's mission is to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth. Additional information about Heifer can be found at www.heifer.org.
