Race Day Schedule
(7:30-8:30 a.m. Walk-up race registration & Check-in)
(8:45 a.m. Opening Remarks)
(9:00 a.m. 5K Begins)
(10:00 a.m. Award Ceremony)
Fees - $25 Registration Fee for each participant which includes participation in the fun run, a t-shirt (while supplies last) and refreshments before & after the run. We encourage all participants to find sponsors using the Sponsorship Form to help further support MIRA. This is a great way to encourage family & friends to get involved and help a great cause at the same time!
Packet Pick-Up - Pre-registered participants may pick up their event packet on Friday, October 19th from 8 a.m.-Noon & 5-7 p.m. in the Dempsey Student Center at Sandhills Community College, 3395 Airport Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374. Registered participants may also pick up packets from 7:30-8:30 a.m. on Race Day, but we encourage you to pick them up the day before to avoid lines.
Awards - A 1st place award will be given to the top male & female finishers 16 & under and the top male & female finishers over 16.
T-shirts will be given to participants on a first-come, first-served basis. We highly encourage you to pick up your t-shirt and bib number on Friday, October 19th from 8am-Noon or 5-7pm to ensure you receive the size shirt you would prefer.
MIRA FOUNDATION USA, INC. was founded by Robert Baillie, himself a guide dog user, as a non-profit corporation established to provide not only guide dogs but also training and services free of charge to qualified visually impaired individuals.
