Brief Description

This year's race proceeds will benefit the ALS Hope Foundation; the goal of the ALS Hope Foundation is to accelerate the search for a cure for ALS by supporting innovative ideas, promoting collaborative research efforts, and attracting more researchers to the cause of ALS. You can help make this fundraiser a success and the best year yet. We encourage your participation in the 14th annual running of the Out & Back Party Run and look forward to seeing you there!

Very cool performance T-shirts to the first 1000 registered. (Just because this is a large number doesn't mean you can sit on your bum and wait till the last minute to register... if you do, they will be gone!).

What started as an excuse to combine our love of running with the need to unwind at week's end has evolved into one of Philadelphia's best running and party events. For 14 years the Out & Back Party Run has been the place to run and be seen on a Friday night in April. Enjoy the experience of running along West River Drive. This is a 4 mile, flat and fast course. On your way back from the 2 mile turn around you are greeted with a beautiful view of the Philadelphia skyline. Relax after giving short chase with a post-race party rivaled only by its reputation for a good time with great people. Food, beer (must be over 21) and music await your return from West River Drive where you can take in the picturesque cityscape as dusk settles into evening on the private grounds of Lemon Hill Mansion. You are invited to join us and start your weekend right with a great run, a great T-shirt and a great party. Hope to see you there!
