Brief Description

The 4th Annual Stroehmann BoMF 20in24 is a unique running event that has distances ranging from 8.4 miles to more than 100 miles. It is 24 hours of nonstop fun that starts on Sat., July 16th at 10 am and ends on Sun., July 17th at 10 am. All proceeds from the 20in24 will benefit Back on My Feet, the nonprofit organization that uses running as a vehicle to promote self-sufficiency within the homeless community, while also changing the way the society views those going through homelessness.

Race Awards

The Relay: Platinum team winner - $2,500. Gold team winner - $2,000. Silver team winner- $1,500. Bronze team winners - $100.
The Lone Ranger: The male and female who run the most miles in 24 hours will each receive $3,000 with an extra $1,000 for breaking the course record. $1,500 for 2nd place and $500 for third
Midnight Madness and Pajama Loop The top male and female will receive $500, 2nd place will receive $250 and 3rd place is $100

Challenge Level: BRONZE

5 total loops in 24 hours. Total team mileage is 42 miles, total member mileage is 8.4 miles with an average pace 34 min/mi. Each team member is responsible to complete ONE loop. The registration, or fundraising, fee is $75 per member.

Challenge Level: SILVER

10 total loops in 24 hours. Total team mileage is 84 miles, total member mileage is 16.8 miles with an average pace 17 min/mi. Each team member is responsible to complete TWO loops. The registration, or fundraising, fee is $135 per member.

Challenge Level: GOLD

15 total loops in 24 hours. Total team mileage is 126 miles, total member mileage is 25.2 miles with an average pace 11 min/mi. Each team member is responsible to complete THREE loops. The registration, or fundraising, fee is $195 per member.

Challenge Level: PLATINUM

20 total loops in 24 hours. Total team mileage is 168 miles, total member mileage is 33.6 miles with an average pace 8:40 min/mi. Each team member is responsible to complete FOUR loops. The registration, or fundraising, fee is $235 per member. The price increase is due to increased city and park event costs.

Lone Ranger - Charity Entry

Individuals wishing to push themselves to their limits! No designated loop requirement, rather this ultra marathon is for people wanting to see just how many miles they can run in the 24 hour time-frame. $3,000 for top male/female, $1,500 for 2nd place male/female and $500 for third male/female. The fundraising minimum for charity entries is $500. Field capacity is 300.

MIDNIGHT MADNESS

Philadelphia’s only glow-in-the-dark 8.4-mile race starting at Midnight on Saturday, July 16th in front of Lloyd Hall. There will be cash prizes for the top three male and female and a prize for the most ‘illuminated’ runner The registration, or fundraising, fee is $65. The increase in cost is due to increased city and park event fees.

THE PAJAMA LOOP

It’s hard enough getting up at the crack of dawn to run, so we decided to save you a step by creating the Pajama Loop. The new 8.4-mile Pajama loop will start at 6:00 am on Sunday, July 18th in front of Lloyd Hall. In addition to awards for the top three male and female finishers, we'll have an award for the best set of PJ’s. The registration fee is $50. The increase is fee in cost is due to increased city and park event fees

Additional Information

There are cash prizes for the winners of all categories and additional awards for 2nd and 3rd place finishers.

Many members from Back on My Feet will take part in the 20in24 giving the opportunity to meet some pretty extraordinary people.

When registering, you will be given the option to pay your registration fee, or fundraise the same amount. we are urging all participants to please consider fundraising for BoMF and a donation page will automatically be created for you, which makes it easy for friends and family to donate. A special prize will be given to the individual and team who fundraise the most money for Back on My Feet. If you choose to fundraise, you have until July 14th to raise your registration fee.
