Brief Description

In it's 9th year the Pewaukee Triathlon will again feature a course that is ideal for both seasoned veterans and those that are new to the sport. The venue is unique as it takes place in downtown Pewaukee with quaint shops on one side and a sandy beach on the other. Easy to access, this is a fast paced, fun event. The swim is hled in the beautiful Pewaukee Lake. The bike course goes around the lake and the run ends at Village Park only a few blocks from the event site.

Kids' Triathlon Information

Each age group has very achievable distances. The swim course is parallel to the shore and never over waist deep. Swim caps are OPTIONAL. Helmets are MANDATORY.

Registration & Packet Pick-up:

- Friday, July 6, 4-8 p.m.; Attitude Sports

- Race morning, 6:30-7:30 a.m.; Attitude Sports

All kids receive a t-shirt, goody bag, finishers' medal, food and fun after their event! Awards to the top 3 male and female winners for each age 3 - 12.

Distance

1/4 mile swim, 16 mile bike , 3.1 mile run.

Swim Course

The swim is at Pewaukee Lake at the Lake Front Park. Plenty of buoys on the course and available to use as resting points. Large and colorful balloon arch at the swim finish. Wetsuits may be worn. Swim caps are MANDATORY and will be provided by Midwest Sports Events.

Bike Course

The bike course travels through neighborhoods circling Pewaukee Lake. Smooth roads with a few glacial rolling hills. Every 5 miles and every turn of the bike course will be marked with large signage. Course maps posted at midwestsportsevents.com.

Run Course

The run heads towards Park Ave. and hugs the lake shoreline finally turning up to reach the peak of the course. The rest of the route is downhill. The run finishes at Village Park. Awards

Midwest Sports Events prides themselves on unique awards! Awards will be given to the first overall female and male winners and age group awards to the top 3 male and female in 5 year increments: 10 and under, 11-14 to 99 plus. Awards to the top 3 relay teams and Athena & Clydesdale.

Midwest Sports Events Amenities

All participants receive a dri-wick shirt, goody bag, swim cap, chip timing and plenty of entertainment! Post event buffet complete with healthy snacks to refuel after the event.

Midwest Sports Events Refund Policy

There will be NO REFUNDS issued for ANY reason. There are absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

TRANSFER FROM 2012 TO 2013 EVENT There will be NO TRANSFERS from this year's event to future year events.

RACE FEE TRANSFER There will be NO TRANSFER OF FEES from one race to another.

TRANSFER TO ANOTHER ATHLETE Race fee can be transfered to another individual, however there is $10 processing fee to complete the transfer.
