Additional Information
Thanks to the Arizona Road Racers Board of Directors, race entry is free for runners, age 17 and
under who register before December 17 (no shirt included). A special kids entry form is available. Please fill out the form, especially the parent/guardian's name and the waiver agreement. Once completed, submit the form.
The 30K race will have the usual 5-year age groups for awards. The relay will use 10-year age groups (and the age group will be that of the youngest member of the team). There will be awards for female, male and coed teams. A coed team must have at least 1 female runner on a 2- or 3-person team, and it must have at least 2 female runners on a 4-person team.
The 30K relay will consist of two 5K and two 10K relay legs (5K – 10K – 10K – 5K). Any deviation from the order and distance specified means the team will be disqualified. A team can consist of from 2-4 members. Each member of the relay team needs to fill out a separate application..
There will be aid stations every two miles.
T-shirts are only guaranteed to those who pre-register and pick it up prior to gun time.
To respect the runners and volunteers who are runners, registration closes 10 minutes prior to the start of the race.
