Description
Running Wild Trail Run is held at Maplewood State Park located seven miles east of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, on State Highway 108 in Otter Tail County.
The Running Wild course navigates through the beautiful, but challenging terrain of northwest Minnesota.
The 7K terrain includes some uneven ground, lots of mini-hills, a gravel road, moderately challenging hills and the rigorous Ironwood Trail Hill. The 1 mile run/hike is an out and back course. The Kid's Run WILD 200 yard dash is a flat out and back course along Lake Lida's public beach.
Fees: Includes single day park pass (all events)

Packet Pick-Up
Pre-Race: Friday, June 14 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Health Resources Center in downtown Fergus Falls 126 East Lincoln Avenue Fergus Falls, MN 56537
Race Day: Saturday, June 15 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. at the Josh Hanson Memorial Picnic Shelter at Maplewood State Park.
Awards
A short awards ceremony will follow the race at 11:00 a.m. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers in the 7K and 1 mile race. In addition, age group awards will be presented. All results will be posted on our website. *NEW in 2013* Team Awards: First Place in the Largest Group category(7K & 1mile) and First Place in the Fastest Group category(7K & 1mile).

We encourage you to enjoy Maplewood State Park after the race. Bring your swimsuits, towels and picnic for the day and enjoy Lake Lida after the race. The beach is steps away from the start line.
