Brief Description

PARC hosts an annual run to raise money for the Pearland Parks Department, to aid in the development of area running trails.

5K/10K Fun Run/Walk at 8:00 am is open to walkers, race walkers, joggers, runners and participants of all ages and abilities. Awards: Overall Male and Female will receive awards. Top finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.

We also have a 1K Fun Run for the kids, and a costume contest.

 

Race information

Early registration deadline is September 30th. T-shirts guaranteed for early registrants. No refunds. No T-shirts for 1K entrants.
1K starts at 7:30 a.m.
5K & 10K start at 8:00 a.m.

Early until 9/30/09 - $20 for 5K/10K
Regular 10/1/09 - 10/30/09 - $25 for 5K/10K
Race Day 10/31/09 - $30 for 5K/10K

Awards

Overall Male and Female will receive awards.
Top three finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
Wear your Halloween costume...we will have a costume contest and winners will get a prize! *Great awards and door prizes.

 

Awards Ceremony

Awards ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m.

 

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be race morning ONLY beginning at 6:30 a.m.

PARC members and Pearland Fit Members will receive a discount.
**Contact us directly regarding group discounts.**

 

Time Limits

The time limit for completing the 10K is 1 hour 30 minutes. The course will close on a rolling schedule based on a 14:29 per mile pace. If you cannot finish the 10K within the allotted time, you will be required to move off the course. We encourage you to run the 5K, if you need more time than allowed.
