This is why we live in California…perfect weather year round. And December provides some great running weather, which makes for a great race! We do experience an occasional rain shower or two, so be prepared and know this is a RAIN OR SHINE EVENT.
They call this area the Oxnard Plain. It's as flat as a pancake and very fast. We cross over 2 bridges and that's it for elevation changes.
The course will be lined with hydration stations approximately every two miles with water and sports drinks.
The finish is at the beautiful Marine Emporium Landing at the Channel Islands Harbor. After finishing the course, relax, refuel, take in the beautiful surroundings and reunite with family and friends.
