VIP Packet Pick-Up

If you want to pick up your race materials race morning, you can choose this option when you register on active.com for $25.00 extra.

If you have already registered and would like this option, you MUST pay the $25 (CASH ONLY!!!) on race day. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Great Weather

This is why we live in California…perfect weather year round. And December provides some great running weather, which makes for a great race! We do experience an occasional rain shower or two, so be prepared and know this is a RAIN OR SHINE EVENT.

The Lay Of The Land

They call this area the Oxnard Plain. It's as flat as a pancake and very fast. We cross over 2 bridges and that's it for elevation changes.

Aid Stations

The course will be lined with hydration stations approximately every two miles with water and sports drinks.

Finish Line Festival

The finish is at the beautiful Marine Emporium Landing at the Channel Islands Harbor. After finishing the course, relax, refuel, take in the beautiful surroundings and reunite with family and friends.

Santa to the Sea is proud to be teaming up with Road Runner Sports of Newbury Park to offer a training program for our Half Marathon and 5K events.

The program begins on Saturday September 17th, 2011 at 7am and includes the following:

•12 weeks of professional training

•Weekly Saturday morning runs at 7am, usually starting from the store, but occasionally meeting at alternate locations

•Pace groups for all levels, water stops on the course and post-run refreshments

•Road Runner Sports technical shirt

•Road Runner Sports VIP Membership

•Informational clinics and social gatherings

•Raffles, prizes and giveaways

•Frequent Runner Club Card, which earns you free gear
