If you need a little guidance or are looking for others to train with, try our program. It is $149 for new members and $109 for alumni who have signed up for the Gobbler Grind. The program includes a Personalized Training Schedule, Technical Training Tee Shirt, Fully Supported Sunday Morning Long Runs, Interval Sessions (track workout) on Tuesdays and another Group Run on Thursdays. This year, we will not allow participants to Register or Pick up their Race Packets on Race Day. You must do this at Packet Pick up on Saturday, November 17th from Noon to 7pm. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS, so please make your travel plans accordingly. Thank you!
Late registration and packet pickup is Saturday, November 17, 2012 from Noon to 7pm at the Doubletree Hotel, 10100 College Blvd, Overland Park, Kansas 66210. No Race Day Packet Pick up for Registration.
Join thousands of runners, walkers and spectators for the 2011 Gobbler Grind. The course is run on both city streets and asphalt running trails through Overland Park and Olathe, Kansas. Course maps available at www.gobblergrindmarathon.com.
Bring a $10 unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots and you will receive a special gift from the Gobbler Grind for your donation. Please bring all toys to packet pickup on November 17th at the Doubletree Hotel. The Marine Corps has informed us that they need Toys, Boardgames, etc. for older Kids too.
The Doubletree Hotel is offering runners a discount on rooms. The Doubletree is located at 10100 College Blvd, Overland Park, Kansas and is about 3/4 of a mile from the start & finish areas. Go to www.gobblergrindmarathon.com to make your reservations.
Finishers Awards will be given to all Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K finishers.
The Marathon is USATF certified and can be used a Boston qualifier.
Online Registration will close at midnight 11/15/12. Runners can register at packet pickup on 11/17/12 but there is NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION or PACKET PICK UP.
Awards will be given in all three events. 5K at 9:00AM, Half-marathon at 10:30 AM, Marathon awards will be handed out periodically as runners finish.
