Additional Information
Returning and New Coaches and Assistant Coaches are required to complete training:
-Attendance at one of the training sessions **Returning Volunteers see note below**
Saturday, February 5: 9:00 am- 11:30 am (Center for Women in Transition-Holland)
Wednesday, Feb 9: 6:30p.m.-9:00 p.m. (Center for Women in Transition-Grand Haven)
Tuesday, February 15: 6:30-9:00 p.m. (Center for Women in Transition-Holland)
Saturday, February 19: 9:00 am - 11:30 am (Center for Women in Transition-Grand Haven)
**Returning Coaches and Assistant Coaches may leave training after new information is covered.
Requirements of Girls on the Run Coaches and Assistant Coaches:
-Completion of training for Spring 2011 season must be completed at one of the provided training sessions in February 2011.
-Mandatory background check cleared for child abuse, assault, neglect or sexual misconduct of any kind. (Waivers will be attached to your confirmation e-mail).
-Head Coaches must provide Girls on the Run program staff of documentation of current certification for CPR and First Aid training. If lacking current certification please notify program staff for options to obtain certification.
