"Check In" at the Field House 10:00 - 12:00 Pre Race Mandatory meeting - Field House 12:00 Race start 1:00pm Parent or guardian must be present at the event but do not participate in the race. Ages 7-9 begin race first with swim swim ages 7-9= 50yd, ages 10-13= 100 yd. bike ages 7-9=2 mil., ages 10-13=2.5 mil. * terrain is 75% dirt covered trails run ages 7-9=.5mil., ages 10-13=1.0 mil.
Registration will be closed on : Monday September 20 , 2010 @9:00pm or when we reach maximum of 208 registration. No registrations on site day of race.
No Refunds.
Bike Helmets and proper footware required.
All parents and athletes must attend the Pre-Race Meeting in the Field House at Noon
The UMaine Field House with the large blue "M" on it sits directly straight ahead if you pull into the parking lot off College Ave. Check In table, race meeting, post race awards and snacks, locker rooms, bathrooms and the Wallace Pool and viewing balcony are all in the Field House.
Parking at Alfond parking lot- Main entrance by the ice hockey Alfond Arena.
Free bike and helmet inspections between 10-12:00

Recommended to wear your bathing suit, sneakers, race t-shirt, Bring your own gym bag and in it include: water, towel, sunblock, swim goggles if you use them.

We do have a limited number of scholarships available for those who are unable to pay the fee. Registrants should request an application by calling # 973-4600
Athletes are urged to wear the Cub Tracks Race T-shirt and race bib # while participating. Parents can view the swim in the balcony of the Wallace Pool in the Field House. Parents are not allowed in the Transition areas for the safety of all athletes. Parents are not allowed on the race course. Parents must notify a race staff member if they wish to remove their child from the race course at any time.
No float aids allowed.
