Brief Description

*2011 RACE IS SOLD OUT* 12-hours, one-loop, urban endurance. You will run the small lake loop at Capital Lake for 12 hours. The loop is a gravel trail with the option to run on the sidewalk. No traffic, just you and the clock. We will have a bountiful aid station at Marathon Park for you as you come through. Challenge your body and, most importantly, your mind. “Toughness is in the soul and spirit, not in muscles.”

Directions

From downtown Olympia travel west on 5th avenue until it turns into Deschutes parkway. Drive one mile along the west side of Capitol Lake. Marathon Park is on the left. The park earned its name when the City of Olympia competed for, and won, the right to host the U.S. time trials for the first Women’s Olympic Marathon, in 1984. The marathon route for the trials began and ended at the park.

Additional Information
