Brief Description

Take a step back in time when you visit the Historic Janney Furnace. This furnace was used during the Civil War to make ammunition for the Confederate Army. Come enjoy the run and visit the park where history was made . Don't forget . .. Don't forget to bring the family and visit the Confederate and Native American Museum.

Directions

Take Hwy 144 West from Alexandria to Big Oak Road. Turn right on Big Oak Road and proceed to Spring Road. Follow the signs to the parking area at the Janney Furnace Museum. Someone will direct you to parking.
