Brief Description

The inception of this race is to commemorate Arbor Day. This beautiful oak canopied packed limerock 3.2 mile trail winds through this rare gem of a State Park. The inaugural running of this race will be one of the most memorable races put on by The Ocala Runner's Club. Every runner will receive a sapling pine tree upon completion of the 5K race- Compliments of YOUR Department of Forestry. Come out to celebrate your local parks. Carney Island is a park for the entire family.

Awards given to School Age Kids in age freindly increments of 2 years. from 19-60 and up every 5 years. To save money on registration please go to www.ocalarunnersclub.com and register for race using mailed in registration with a check before April 5.
