Brief Description

32nd Annual Event.
Course:
Same course as last year. 7.45 miles of trail and meadow. Some challenging areas. Awards, music and picnic immediately following run. 2 hour time limit. Final event for the Grand Slam.

Location:
Kickapoo State Recreation Area located in Oakwood, IL, west of Danville. Take I-74 to Exit 206 or 210 and follow the signs to the park. Camping facilities are available in the park. There is a no shirt option or long sleeve T. Race day registration starting at 8:30 A.M. Start time of race is CDT. Divisions are open male & female, master male & female, grandmaster male & female, heavyweight (199-209), superheavyweight (210+) and Amazon female (140+) Awards: Top 3 men & 3 women; 1st male & female masters & grandmasters; top heavyweight, superheavyweight & amazon. Also, top 3 men & women in age groups.
Special Note:
Because of insurance requirements the following are never allowed at Kennekuk events:
Headsets, rollerblades or skates, baby strollers, and bandits. No dogs on or near the race course. Also no refunds, transfers or awards mailed.
