Please join us for our 6th Annual Pride Run and Walk! This event celebrates Out In Oakland, National Coming Out Day, and EBFRW's commitment to our community.
Race day is now Saturday instead of Sunday. EBFRW members, please note: the Pride Run and Walk takes the place of our regular second Saturday fun run/walk on this date only!
Race options include a 5K run or walk, and 10K run. The flat and fast course circles beautiful Lake Merritt once (5K) or twice (10K). Every registered participant will receive a pair of high quality, rainbow-colored East Bay Front Runners running socks! Prizes will be awarded to the top performers, and each participant receives a ribbon. Stay after the race for light refreshments.
Parking is very limited at the venue. A small parking lot (fee: $5) is adjacent to the boathouse. Enter Lakeside Park on Bellevue near Fairyland, pay at the booth, and proceed 1/2 mile. Lot is on your right. Also, metered street parking is available on Grand Avenue. We recommend carpooling or public transit (BART 19th Street Oakland station or AC Transit #12 line).
