Brief Description

On this 10th Anniversary of 9/11 as we take to the streets in a small town in Norwell, Massachusetts... other Shadow Run Race participants will be running past tactical vehicles and perimeter fences on their base overseas. We will be honoring those who have served, are serving, or have supported our Nation.

WHAT IS A SHADOW RUN RACE?

Shadow Run Racers will be running and walking the same course distance together in friendly competition, for a final race time, in multiple locations. Runners can be racing along-side local Law Enforcement, Fire, Soldiers, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, Sailors, and Airmen at the event... including those stationed in other parts of the world.

PROCEEDS:

Proceeds will go to opening a facility in the Norwell area where disabled veterans and returning soldiers will be offered free physical training and outdoor sports activities. This would allow our nations bravest to train to compete in National Disabled Veteran Sporting & Athletic Events. More importantly we would like to help them return to a community that will help them build their confidence as they return back to civilian life. Civilians would be welcome to train here as well.

PARKING:

Parking will be limited at Norwell High School. Additonal parking will be located at a the Hanover Mall where shuttle service will be provided.

WHAT IS AN HONORARY SHADOW RUN RACE PARTICIPANT?

Run, Walk and show your support of the 9-11 Memorial Shadow Run Race wherever you may be. Runners who would like to participate but can’t attend can find their own race couse and run in spirit to honor a deployed loved one or fallen hero. Sign up and send us your time! We will post it on our results page. Medals will be mailed to all Honorary Shadow Runners.

MUST KNOW INFO:
